Pick out your future companion, or several. We can arrange for you to visit one of our foster homes to meet some of our companions looking for good homes.
If approved for your future pet, be sure to prepare your home. Buy water and food bowls if you don't already own them. Buy a litter pan, litter scoop, and litter if it's a cat you'll be adopting or a collar and leash if it's a dog. Buy toys and/or other things to spoil your future companion.
Read and sign the Adoption Agreement, pay the adoption fee (cats/kittens $75, dogs fees vary-start at $150-the fee includes testing for Feline Leukemia/FIV for cats, heartworm for dogs, all vaccinations and spay/neuter. All animals will be spayed/neutered prior to adoption.) and take your new friend home.
Please give your new pet ample time to adjust to his or her new environment. They are going to be frightened and confused at first. The average time it takes for an animal to adjust is about two weeks.
